Welcome! My name is Kate and I am excited to help you! My approach is nurturing and nonjudgemental.
Who do I help? I help midlife women who feel lost or isolated after divorce, empty nesting, retirement and caregiving, reconnect with who they are, rebuild their confidence, and intentionally design a fulfilling next chapter. I do this by listening without judgement, and then guiding the client in their discovery of the small intentional action steps that provide opportunities for joy and growth.

Hi! I’m Kate.
I am glad you are here.
As a child, I moved often, resulting in being the “new kid” several times. I remember grade six in particular, feeling scared, isolated, and depressed. Unfortunately, I didn’t have an adult at school who helped me through those challenges. The “new kid” experience stayed with me and propelled me into becoming a middle school counselor.
My twenty eight year career as a middle school counselor and school administrator has given me the knowledge and skills to help middle school students and their parents through private coaching. Not only do I have years of experience working with students and their families through a school setting, I am a certified life coach with a focus on youth and parent support.
I have designed my coaching practice to coach both the student and the parent individually, which results in a more balanced and calmer household. I coach the student on the challenge they are facing whether it be social, organizational, anxiety perfectionism, or a combination. I coach the parent on how to foster better communication, boundary setting, and how to shift their parenting style to become more of a consultant to their middle schooler, rather than manager.
What has made me stand out with my students and parents is how caring and helpful I am. I truly love this age group and it shines through. That is why I call my coaching practice heart centered.
